Mortal Carbon

No one is on the line.
Someone always is.

Voice agents for the calls that come in and the calls that go back out — answered, routed, and followed up.

The thesis

One line.
Both directions.

Most voice AI picks a direction. We build for the whole call — the one that arrives, and the one that goes back out. Same voice, same context, same standard.

Inbound

Every call answered.
None rushed.

A receptionist and call-center agent that greets, qualifies, books, and routes — then hands off with the transcript, the reason, and the context a person actually needs.

Reception & bookingAnswers in your brand's voice, finds the slot, confirms it.
Qualification & routingAsks what matters, then sends the call to the right desk.
After-hours & overflowNights, weekends, and surges. The line stays open.
Warm handoffTranscript, reason, and context. Not a cold transfer.

Outbound

The follow-up
that doesn't forget.

Confirmations, recalls, no-shows, and lead qualification — placed with the same voice, the context from your systems, and a hard stop when a person should take over.

Reminders and confirmations. The call that keeps the calendar honest.
Reactivation and recalls. The list that never gets worked, worked.
Qualification before the callback. A person only calls back the calls worth making.
Consent and calling hours. Opt-outs, do-not-call, and local hours built into the workflow.

Own inference.
Not a rented API.

Our models run on infrastructure we own and operate — no third-party inference API, no per-token billing, and no vendor outage in the middle of a call.

We build the agent.
We stay for the calls.

Our engineers design, build, and run agents around how your business actually works — your systems, your edge cases, your voice. Then they keep tuning until the calls sound handled.

01Scope

Agent design

Tell us the calls that hurt. We map the workflow, the edge cases, and the moments a person should take over — before a line of prompt is written.

  • Workflow map
  • Call scripts
  • Success criteria
02Build

Build & integrate

Senior agent engineers build it against your stack — telephony, CRM, calendar, ticketing — and test it on real recordings, not guesses.

03Tune

Fine-tune & change

Live calls teach. We tune prompts, voices, routing, and guardrails, and make changes when your process does — measured against the calls that were getting it wrong.

  • Evaluation
  • Prompt tuning
  • Voice
  • Guardrails
04Run

Support & monitoring

A named team stays on the line after launch. New intents, new integrations, fixes, and a monthly review — with a response time, not a ticket queue.

Already running an agent?

Bring it. We'll audit the calls it gets wrong, fix the prompts, the voice, and the integrations, then take over support from there.

What is Mortal Carbon?+

An AI voice platform for inbound and outbound calls. We build, run, and monitor agents that answer, route, follow up, and hand off.

Can one agent handle inbound and outbound?+

Yes. Same voice, same context, same reporting. The agent that books the appointment can also make the confirmation call.

Can it replace our IVR or phone tree?+

Yes. Callers say what they need instead of pressing a menu. The agent understands, acts, and resolves.

Do you build your own models?+

We run inference on our own infrastructure, choose the best model for each call, and fine-tune or build where it matters. One team is accountable for the result.

How does it hand off to a person?+

A warm transfer with the transcript, the reason for the call, and the context the person needs. You define when handoff happens.

How is it priced?+

Start is $0.14 per minute. Build is $0.12 per minute plus $299 per month. Enterprise is custom. Every tier includes model inference and voice, with no per-token charges.

How long does it take to go live?+

Self-serve agents can go live in a day. Production deployments with integrations and review typically take two to six weeks.

Does it replace our team?+

No. It covers the calls your team can't get to and hands off the ones that need a person, with context.

Will callers know it's AI?+

It sounds natural, and it discloses that it is AI where required. We do not build agents that pretend to be human.

Is it secure?+

Security documentation, data-processing terms, and current certification status are available under NDA.

Mortal Carbon

We are carbon. We are mortal.
What we build doesn't have to be.

Bring us the call your team dreads. We'll show you what it sounds like when it's handled.
